Behind The Scences Of Death Note (Don't join unless assigned a position or want one that isn't already taken!)

Kona gave everyone a confused look. "What did I miss?" she asked.

Mello stormed into the room, rubbing his temples as he dropped a half-eaten bar of chocolate in the waste basket next to the door. "Light, listen to Araki-san and shut the hell up! We can hear you damned two rooms down the hall..."

(OOC: The director's name is Tetsuro Araki... right?)

Kona arrived. "YAY! I'm late!!!" She said. "Man I'm good at being late here." She complemented herself.

Dusty glared up at him. "I asked you to back off," she said, sternly. She shrugged off his hold and walked past him, trying to figure out where Riley went. Instead, she went over to the water fountain.

"Dumbass? You're the one who dumped the apples on me!" Light shouted. He struggled against the director's hold, but the director (OMG WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER HIS NAME?!!) held tight.

L smiled and held onto Dusty tighter. "Didn't you read the script for the new season? I dump Riley for you."

Riley had already left the room and was heading on her way home. L and her weren't going out...but he just wanted to act like it for the press or whatever.

"Such a jerk." She muttered to herself.

Ryuuk scoffed and backed away from Light, "Stupid dumbass."

Dusty's cheeks went red. "The Hell are you doing?" She said, pushing him away by the shoulders. "If you're datin' Riley, then dude, personal space."

Light pushed Ryuuk back down, only to be pulled up by the director. "The two of you knock it off."

Ryuuk growled, "POTATOE CHIP THIS!!!" He slammed his fist into Light's face.

L stopped laughing and tilted his head to the side, "Awww...c'mon Dusty. Don't be like that." He pulled her close and kissed her nose.

Light lunged at Ryuuk, tackling him to the ground. "RAWR!! IT'S POTATO CHIP TIME!!" He roared, pounding his fists on his chest.

Dusty pulled away and folded her arms. "Hmph!" She snuffed. "I don't want a hug from you, you big fat meanie head!"

L laughed and gave Dusty a hug, "I'm sorry...I didn't realize it was so important to you."

Ryuuk smacked Light across the face, "SHUT UP! NO ONE'S IMPRESSED WITH YOUR CHEESY LAUGH!!!"

Light raised his head to the ceiling and took in a big breath. Being the star of the show, off set, he was always a little bit too cocky with everyone else. He threw his head back and let out the breath with a tad bit of voice to it, beginning the rupture of his evil laugh... for the second time that day.

Dusty stomped her foot. "Not important?! Of course it's important!" She insisted. "What, you think that just because I'm not always on Riley's arm it's not important? Traitors!"

L shrugged, "We figured that it wasn't that important."

Ryuuk finally got hit by the flying apples and fell down onto the floor, "Ow! That hurt!"

Dusty couldn't hold it back anymore. Her jaw dropped. "Two YEARS and I've been oblivious?! Why didn't you tell me?" It was a question addressed to both of them.

Light threw a few apples across at Ryuuk. "Would you just knock it off, already?!" he shouted, infuriated.

ooc/ Infuriated... is that even a word?

Riley continued to look at the floor, still blushing. "About two years."

Ryuuk swiftly dodged the apples and stuck his tongue out again, "What are you gonna do now Light? Eat a potatoe chip??? Cause that's REAL scary!"

Dusty's heart sank, but only for a moment. She perked up, knowing that Riley had known him long before she did, and that they were much better suited for one another. Instead of breaking down or growing quiet like she would normally (and on camera), she clasped her hands together and let out a sweet little noise that sounded like a giggle. "Oh, how sweet! How long has it been?!"

Light caught a few of them in his arms, put them down on the floor, then started throwing them back with his tennis arm. "Take this! And that! And some of these!"
He felt odd, feeling that the quote was from a bad cartoon he had seen before.

L sighed and leaned down kissing Riley on her cheek, "Riley and me are dating."

Riley blushed madly and let go of Dusty.

Ryuuk laughed and started throwing apples at Light, "Dodge the apples! Dodge the apples!"

Dusty lurched forward a bit, freezing. A huge grin on her face. "What's going on, you say?" She said, trying her best to act excited. Being on an acting crew made faking excitement and happiness a bit too easy in life. "Spill, spill, spill!" She was jumping up and down on the tips of her toes, her tennis shoes making a soft CLOMPing noise on the hard wood floor.

"Getting upset over apples that YOU threw on me!" Light shouted from across the room. He, again, lunged for Ryuuk, but he missed and fell on to the back of the couch, which he soon brought down to the ground.

Ryuuk started to laugh uncontrollably, "Really Light! Getting upset over APPLES! HAHAHA!"

Riley stood up and grabbed Dusty's arms, pulling the girl up with her. "Alright! Time for us to head home! It's been a long day so we need to get some rest!"

L stood up as Riley approached the door and walked over to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Don't you think it's time we told Dusty what was going on?"

"I may VERY WELL JUST use the Death Note on you! You may be a Shinigami on set, but damn it, I can very well slaughter your ass right here and right now!" Light shouted, getting way too riled up, as usual.

Dusty, on the other side of the room, leaned back and crossed one leg over another. "Well, it's pretty obvious to me that the two of you have a bit of chemistry going on, and I was just asking for details," she said, honestly. "I wanted to know what goes on off set."

Riley blushed a beat red and continued to look down.

L tilted his head to the side, "Oh...what about us?"

Riley looked up at Dusty with her eyes and pleaded for the girl to stop embarassing her.

Ryuuk stuck his tongue out at Light, shouting, "Oh no! He's gonna use his Death Note...I'm SSSOOO scared."

Dusty looked at L with only her eyes, a sly smile curling across her face. "We're talking about you. You and Riley," she said, deviously.

Light stood up, enraged. He bounded towards the man in the blue costume, shouting out his name. "RYUUK!! I'LL KILL YOU!!"

Riley blushed deeply and shook her head, "N-no it's not THAT intimate!" She looked down at the floor, completely embarassed.

L sat down beside Dusty and smiled, "What are you guys talking about?"

"APPLE ATTACK!!!" Ryuuk came up behind Light and dumped a barrel of apples on top of him.

Dusty forced a smile back at Riley. "Puh-lease. My part is no fun. You're already intimant with Lawliet with YOUR part, eh?" She nudged Riley in the arm with a suggestive look. "How are things between you two OFF set, huh?"

Light rolled his eyes at the two girls. He sat -- well, practically fell -- into the cushions of the large couch in the break room. He wanted to complain and moan like everyone else, but it just wasn't like him. His fingers DID hurt though.

L stretched and sat up normally. "It really does hurt your back after awhile."

"Yeah...try floating on wires behind Light all the time. It's no walk in the park." Ryuuk scoffed as he was lowered to the ground by the crew and drunkily started walking around.

Riley smiled as she sat down next to Dusty. "You did a great job today!"

Light let out a long sigh. He was getting so sick and tired of the complaints that came out of those two after EVERY SINGLE RECORDING.

"Do you two do ANYTHING but complain?"

Dusty poked Light on the back of the head, roughly at his remark. "You'd complain a lot too if you had to sit like that all the time!" She snapped, defending Ryuzaki.

L sighed after a long day of work.

"Ugh...I think my stomach is going to explode from eating so many sweets!" He complained to his fellow co-workers.

"Yeah...well at least you don't have to eat apples! I don't care for fruits!" Ryuuk said as he tossed a half-eaten apple over his shoulder.
