The Wonderful Death Note Pairings

Hmmm... You won't see me on this one a lot. Here you can discuss about the pairings that you appreciate and why you like them. (i.e.: Light x L, Mello x Near, L x Matsuda, ect.) Personally, I'm not interested in many of these pairings. Maybe you guys can turn me on to one? ^__^

Okay, so, I'm starting to get into the whole L x Light thing, simply because I made a requested AMV that was posted on Youtube. The AMV was for the supposedly gay Death Note pairing L x Light to the song "There for You" by Flyleaf. I wasn't all that happy about it at first, but upon making the video I've become slightly curious and I've been observing them in the series a little more. I think that Light X L makes a pretty interesting pairing, and I can understand now why the supporters of this pairing despise Misa Misa so much. (I hated her to begin with, but...)

I'm just sort of ranting, because the forum is sort of dead right now, and I want to get some activity going in hopes that you'll all come back to me. Stop living your lives and roleplay, damn it! ^ ^

So hey, what's so interesting about the Mello X Near pairing? I don't see it at all. I mean, I've tried to get into it, but I just am not seeing what you guys do. Unless you all have a completely different idea of an anime pairing. Could somebody tell me exactly what it is about Mello and Near that seems so invigorating to the point where fangirls get absolutely obsessed? (Which is just silly, by the way.)

Well the whole thing behind MelloxNear people make it so Mello actually is dominant of Near. Because Near surpasses Mello on a lot of different scales. So Near becomes submissive while Mello becomes dominant. Its like the whole thing of 'oh yes I am number one' Which Mello wants to be

Oh, I see. It just doesn't really catch my interest I suppose, becuase even though you've explained it I still don't think I'd be interested in it, you know?

MelloxNear I really don't care much for. What abotu B(Beyond Birthday)xL. I just hate that pairing. I mean come on they never actully met so how could that ever happen.
